THE EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY PRACTITIONER
Cultivating emotionally healthy client relationships
Client practitioner relationships can be HARD.
What do you do when a client expects instant healing, isn’t willing to put in the work, or calls/texts/emails ALL OF THE TIME expecting an immediate response?
What about the client determined to do something you would never do? How about the client who isn’t totally honest with you or questions your every suggestion- making it harder to do your job ?
How do you handle it when you face these challenging situations? What do you do when you’re the one feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, not good enough and burnt out?
Those who help others - need helpers!
Sometimes you just need a second perspective, an outside looker, an encouraging word, someone who will listen to you and not just give advice, but offer practical tips and truths to help you and the situation.
Each client has their unique concerns and needs and each practitioner has their own way of approaching those concerns and needs.
People and personalities will clash but that doesn't mean you can’t work together!
As a practicing NTP with a Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, I would love to come alongside and help you navigate your toughest clients and your toughest situations.
Whether that’s a demanding client, encouraging you in what you’re called to do, offering practical tips on a difficult situation, navigating your personal biases or doubts, creating healthy client boundaries, helping you decide when you should refer out, etc…
I would love to help.
